Ongoing Events
The Lawyers' Club of Los Angeles County offers monthly noon-time CLE sessions on the first Wednesday of each month at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse downtown. These informal sessions cover a variety of subjects from ethics to technology in a friendly environment that allows for open discussion of each topic. At just $10 per session for members and $15 for non-members, the Club's monthly CLE is today's equivalent of its protest of the high cost to attend the 1938 State Bar Convention!
The Lawyers' Club of Los Angeles County continues to be vitally interested in good government
and an effective legal system participating on the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Board of Trustees, and sending an active delegation to the State Bar Conference each year. We encourage new members to join us at our Board of Governors' meetings on the second Tuesday of each month.
The Lawyers' Club of Los Angeles County, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Daily Journal, also hosts the annual "Bridging the Gap" program for new and recent California Bar admittees. This program offers a full day of practical advice for newer attorneys and at least 6 hours of CLE.
